Quebec Construction Commission latest to go digital

By Lia Lévesque, The Canadian Press

It’s now the Quebec Construction Commission’s turn to modernize its online services to facilitate and speed up interactions with employers and workers in the industry.

The “Chantier numériccq” project will enable the construction commission to update its outdated IT systems.

The construction commission’s services were therefore scheduled to be paused from Dec. 17 to Jan. 11, while the old systems were disconnected and the new ones connected. The transition period will also allow for testing and adjusting the new features.

The improved online services are set to launch next Monday.

The CCQ says that data security will also be enhanced, making everything simpler, more secure and accessible on all devices.
