Milder temperatures, rain and snow in forecast for Montreal

After a cold snap to kick off the new year, Montrealers will see a cocktail weather as milder temperatures are expected Thursday and Friday and snow this weekend.

Thursday will be cloudy with a 30 percent chance of flurries and a risk of freezing drizzle early morning before clearing this morning.

The temperatures will be a high of 2 Celsius and a low of minus-1 C, but windchill overnight will make it feel minus-6 C.

Friday will be mild with a high of 6 C and see some rain around noon and fog patches in the afternoon. Rain is expected to return at night with a low of minus-1 C.

Saturday will be cloudy with daytime temperatures expected to be 2 C. But snow is forecast at night as the temperature plunges to a low of minus-6 C.

Sunday will be snowy with a high of 1 C and a low of minus-6 C.
