Montreal police say four people have been arrested and two others are being sought in connection with an alleged stolen vehicle exportation network.
They say the investigation began in November 2025 in collaboration with the RCMP.
Police allege the organization was responsible for stealing 14 vehicles, with an estimated total value of approximately $1.15 million. Twelve of those vehicles were recovered, either from shipping containers at the Port of Montreal or from so-called “cooling” locations across the island.
Searches and arrests were carried out Wednesday morning in the boroughs of Plateau-Mont-Royal, Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension.
Among those arrested is 18-year-old Kento Doi, who appeared in custody at the Montreal courthouse on Jan. 15. He faces multiple charges, including motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and trafficking.
Two other suspects, aged 15 and 17, were also arrested and later released with a promise to appear at a future date in the Youth Division of the Quebec Court.
A fourth suspect, a 19-year-old, was released without being charged.
Police say two additional suspects remain at large and are the subject of arrest warrants. They are identified as 18-year-old Andrew Santos Polanco and 18-year-old Hamza Aini.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact 911 or provide information anonymously through Info-Crime Montréal at 514-393-1133.
The investigation is ongoing, and police say further arrests and vehicle seizures are possible.
