Several arrests carried out across Quebec in connection with organized crime

Authorities made several arrests across Quebec on Wednesday morning for charges linked to drug trafficking, weapons and stolen goods.

The arrests were carried out by ENRICO-Quebec, the police task force fighting organized crime, in collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), Longueuil (SPAL), Mirabel, Lévis and Quebec City (SPVQ) police forces.

In a press release, ENRICO-Quebec states these arrests are linked to an investigation launched in 2024 by some 50 police officers which led to raids last February, May, and December, targeting mainly individuals who operate under the Quebec chapter of the Hells Angels.

Arrests have been made in the Montérégie, the Laurentians, Bas Saint-Laurent, Chaudière-Appalaches and Quebec City regions.

Ten men and two women, aged between 22 and 68, were arrested on warrants, including the ringleader, for offences committed between 2020 and 2025, according to ENRICO-Quebec.

Eleven of the suspects are expected to appear in court on Wednesday for charges relating to drug trafficking, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of property obtained by a crime, and violation of a prohibition order.

Anyone with information related to drug trafficking and firearm possession can get in contact with the Sûreté du Québec confidentially by calling 1-800-659-4264.
