Two seriously injured in head-on collision in Sherbrooke

Two motorists were seriously injured in a head-on collision in Sherbrooke on Wednesday.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. on Saint-François Nord Street.
Sherbrooke police say one of the vehicles appears to have crossed into the opposite lane and struck another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
One of the drivers, an 85-year-old, remained in critical condition Thursday morning. The other driver, a 51-year-old, also sustained serious injuries.
Sherbrooke police say all possibilities are still being considered.
Investigators and a forensic identification technician examined the scene, assisted by patrol officers.
