REM fully closed February 15 for ‘routine maintenance’

Editor’s note: The REM’s operator indicated, on Feb. 10, that the REM would remain open on Feb. 15 after all.

Anyone using the REM light-rail network on weekends will have to find other ways to get around on Sunday, Feb. 15.

The REM will be fully closed that day for “routine maintenance,” according to the REM’s operator Pulsar.

“Alternative travel options will be offered by our partners,” Pulsar wrote in a brief write news release, sending transit riders online for more information.

The REM will also close early – at 9 p.m. – on Feb. 6, 7 and 27.

On those days, the last train will leave the Brossard station at 8 p.m., and the Deux-Montagnes station at 8:10 p.m.
