REM service normal after network-wide slowdown

The REM service is operating normally after a slowdown across the network for several hours Monday morning.

The transit agency said the slowdown was due to limited number of cars.

“This morning’s train problems were caused by a technical issue during the night that delayed train preparations for this morning,” REM told CityNews in an email.

Earlier there was also a service interruption between Deux-Montagnes and Sainte-Dorothée stations due to a technical problem. REM had said the service was expected to resume around 7:30 a.m.
