Man found unconscious on Montreal street

Montreal police (SPVM) say a man was found unconscious overnight on Sainte-Catherine West, near Clark Ave.

According to SPVM, a 911 call was received around 12:25 a.m. Monday and when officers arrived on the scene, he was already being treated by first responders.

The man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

“According to initial information, the victim lost consciousness outside for reasons are still unknown,” said SPVM spokesperson Johanie Charland. “He appeared to be accompanied by at least one other person who left the scene before police arrived.”

The investigation is ongoing.
