The Montreal Police Service (SPVM) say they have arrested a 37 year-old man in connection with a series of alleged sexual assaults on city buses, and are urging other potential victims to come forward.
SPVM said Rosenthal Jr Dorleans was taken into custody on March 16 on charges of sexual contact and sexual assault. He appeared in Quebec court days later.

Investigators allege the suspect targeted victims during morning commutes on STM bus routes, including the 193 Jarry (westbound) and 439 Express Pie-IX (southbound) lines on November 12, 2025, March 10, and March 12, 2026.
The incidents were said to have occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., with two of the three reported cases involving a minor.
Police believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone who experienced or witnessed similar incidents to contact 911 or the SPVM’s Sexual Assault Section directly at 514-280-8502.
It is also possible to go to any local police station to provide a statement or file an official complaint.
Rosenthal Jr. Dorleans, 37, is a Black man, 1.73 m tall and weighing 76 kg. He has brown eyes and black hair.
The case has been integrated into a provincial coordinated investigation effort aimed at identifying potential repeat offenders and ensuring victim protection.
