Police renew appeal for information in January crash that killed two children in Laval

Authorities in Laval are seeking the public’s help in a fatal crash investigation that claimed the lives of two children earlier this year.

The incident occurred on Jan. 5, around 7:30 p.m. along Route 335, between Dagenais Blvd. and Saint-Saëns Street.

“Investigators assigned to this case are looking for anyone who witnessed the incident or may have relevant information, particularly video footage,” stated Laval police.

Officials say they are searching for a Hyunday Kona, a vehicle of interest in the collision.

According to police, the case involves allegations of dangerous driving that resulted in multiple injuries in addition to the two fatalities.

Laval police says the investigation remains active and has drawn significant attention due to its severity. Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed anything, may have dashcam, or surveillance footage to come forward.
