Man who was abducted in Beauce found; three suspects will be questioned

The man in his thirties who was abducted from a residence in the municipality of Scott, in Beauce, overnight Tuesday, has been found safe and sound. Three suspects have been taken into custody and will be questioned.
The Sûreté du Québec confirmed that the kidnapping victim was found around 8:30 a.m. in Saint-Tite-des-Caps, in the Capitale-Nationale region. A drive between Scott and Saint-Tite-des-Caps takes about an hour.
The man was therefore found just over eight hours after the kidnapping.
According to the Sûreté du Québec, around midnight, suspects reportedly arrived at a residence on Jean-Baptiste Street in Scott.
They allegedly forced the man, who is in his thirties, into a vehicle and then fled.
The Sûreté du Québec launched a search operation, which continued until Wednesday morning. Witnesses were also interviewed.
Three suspects were with the abducted man when he was found. They remain in custody pending the investigation and are expected to be interviewed later today by Sûreté du Québec investigators.
