Quebec’s Transport Ministry says part of Highway 15, including the Méderic-Martin Bridge, which connects Montreal and Laval, will be starting next week until end of 2027.
The disruptions are needed for repaving work on Highway 15, set to begin on June 11, the Ministry said.
Beginning next Thursday until the end of 2027, there will be:
- Complete or partial closures in the evening, at night, and on weekends on Highway 15 (Laurentian), between Highway 40 (Metropolitan) and the Médéric-Martin Bridge in Montreal, in either direction.
- Closures of on- and off-ramps on Highway 15 between Highway 40 and the Médéric-Martin Bridge.
- Evening, nighttime, and weekend closures of ramps at the Highway 15 and 40 interchange.
Detour routes will be marked with temporary signage. Traffic congestion is expected. The Ministry recommends that drivers traveling in the area allow extra time to reach their destination.
The roadwork could be rescheduled or cancelled if weather conditions do not allow for it.
Drivers are asked to consult Québec 511 before heading out on those routes.
