Severe thunderstorm watch in effect, rain to end the week

There is a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for the Montreal area on Wednesday.
Environment and Climate Change Canada says this afternoon and evening conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rain, flash flooding, and reduce visibility. Temperatures will be hot and humid with a high of 25 C, feeling like 32 C with the humidex. Showers continue tonight with a risk of thunderstorms and a low of 20 C.
Showers should end late in the morning on Thursday, then we should see a mix of sun and clouds, with a 30 per cent chance of showers. Still hot and humid with a high of 28 C feeling like 37 C with the humidex. Rain could continue into the night, with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a low of 21 C.
Sun and clouds expected on Friday with a 60 per cent chance of showers. High of 29 C, low of 17 C. Showers expected at night.
Sunshine on Saturday with a high of 26 C, clear skies in the evening with a low of 16 C.
Periods of rain for Sunday with a high of 24 C, low of 16 C. Those showers will likely continue into the night.
So far, the forecast calls for sun to start next week.
