Steve’s Music Store to hold online auction on July 22, 23

Steve’s Music Store said it will hold an auction to sell off its remaining inventory at its last storefront as it winds down operations.

Musical instruments, professional audio equipment, DJ as well as furniture will be up for sale.

The online auction will be held July 22 and 23 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bidders must register to participate.

The auction comes after the Montreal music store chain announced earlier this year that after six decades in business it was closing its physical stores in Quebec and Ontario due to financial challenges and to adapt to online sales.

The company has not set a date for the closing of the only remaining storefront in downtown Montreal.
