Montrealers face weekend closure of Decarie northbound

Motorists in Montreal will face major traffic disruptions this weekend as Highway 15 (Décarie) will be closed northbound from August 28 to 31, 2026. This closure is required to carry out girder repairs to the Des Jockeys and Ferrier Street overpasses.

Obstructions and traffic management

Friday 10:30 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

  • Closure of Highway 15 (Décarie), northbound, between Exit No 69 (Jean-Talon) and the entrance leading from Paré Street to Highway 15, northbound.
  • Closure of the entrance leading from Édouard-Montpetit Boulevard to Highway 15, northbound.

Please note that the Samuel De Champlain Bridge will be closed northbound (towards Montreal) during the same period. Episodes of congestion are to be expected. The Ministry recommends that road users who will have to travel in the area allow extra time to get to their destination.
