Another weekend means another section of Montreal’s roads will be closed.
Transport Quebec says this coming weekend, Highway 40 and the Saint-Michel Boulevard interchange will see some closures to repair concrete slabs.
Between 10 p.m. on Friday and 5 a.m. on Monday, the Highway 40 exit ramp 75 — Highway 19 north / St-Michel Blvd. / Papineau Ave. — will be closed.
Additionally, one lane along westbound Crémazie Boulevard will be closed in segments between Highway 16 and 1 Avenue between 11 p.m. on Friday and 5 a.m. on Monday, while the entrances to Highway 40 from Pie-IX and Saint-Michel boulevards will be closed starting an hour earlier.
Lastly, 2nd Avenue will also be closed under Highway 40 during the same timeframe.
As always, Transport Quebec says that the work may be postponed or extended due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints, and advises drivers to check Québec 511 before hitting the streets.
