A sunny Halloween weekend ahead for Montreal

Montrealers celebrating Halloween this weekend will be able to enjoy a sunny celebration with sunshine expected to dominate Saturday and Sunday.

After a cloudy Friday with a 30 per cent chance of afternoon showers and gusty winds, conditions are expected to improve just in time for Halloween.

Saturday, will bring mainly sunny skies and a high of 8 Celusis. But don’t let the sunshine fool you: temperatures will dip to around 3 C overnight, meaning trick-or-treaters should dress warmly before heading out to collect candy.

Clear skies are expected Saturday night, offering favourable conditions for Halloween festivities.

Sunday looks even brighter, with sunshine and a high of 12 C, making it an ideal day for outdoor activities, pumpkin patch visits and post-Halloween family outings.

And there’s more good news for those reluctant to say goodbye to fall. Temperatures are expected to climb to 17 C on Monday and 16 C Tuesday, bringing an unusually mild start to November.

The weather picture becomes less settled by Tuesday night, however, with a 60 per cent chance of showers extending into Wednesday.
