Saint-Jean festivities begin in Montreal

Saint-Jean-Baptiste long weekend feels like the unofficial start of summer in Montreal. If you are looking to celebrate here’s what’s happening in our city.
The festivities, for the first time since the pandemic began, start in-person tonight.

The Grand Spectacle at 9 p.m. at Place des Festivals with prominent Montreal artists. The public can also watch them prepare throughout the afternoon.
On June 24, the official Fête National day, there will be stations set up with activities all along de Maisonneuve boulevard, between Sanguinet and Saint-Dominique, in the Quartier des Spectacles.



There are also family friendly activities and concerts happening in all of Montreal’s neighborhoods on both Thursday and Friday.
