First election posters go up in Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne

The first election posters have gone up in Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne one day after Premier François Legault called a byelection in the Sud-Ouest riding.
Citizens there will head to the polls to vote for a new MNA on March 13.
The seat became vacant after former Quebec Liberal party leader Dominique Anglade stepped down last December.

Coalition Avenir Québec candidate Victor Pelletier tweeted images of himself putting up posters with slogans promising more social housing and tax cuts.
Québec Solidaire candidate Guillaume Cliche-Rivard was in the riding with party co-spokesperson Manon Massé on Monday to launch his campaign.
The Quebec Liberal Party presented their new candidate Christopher Baenninger in the riding on Monday.
The Conservative Party of Quebec has not yet presented a candidate for the riding but a poster of party leader Éric Duhaime had gone up.
Posters for Shawn Lalande McLean running with the Parti accès propriété et équité have also been placed around the area.
The Parti Québécois has not yet presented a candidate running in the riding.
