Longueuil police seek more potential victims in indecent acts case

Longueuil police (SPAL) are asking the public for assistance in identifying any additional victims connected to a 44-year-old man arrested on Oct. 15 in relation to alleged indecent behaviour.

Officials say Christopher Choquette was arrested as part of an investigation into alleged indecent acts that began in July 2023.

The investigation stems from incidents first reported in Saint-Basile-le-Grand in April 2018.

Choquette is suspected of committing indecent acts while driving on public roads or in commercial parking lots in his vehicles — a blue 2019 Hyundai Elantra (license plate BFP 18F) and a red 2006 Dodge Caravan (license plate FPH 4093) — primarily in front of women.

So far, the SPAL investigation has linked him to 20 alleged incidents that occurred in Longueuil, Estrie, Montérégie, and Montreal between April 2018 and Sept. 2025.

Investigators have not ruled out the possibility of additional victims, particularly in Châteauguay, where Choquette resides.

He faces charges of committing indecent acts and was released on Oct. 15 under certain conditions.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 450-463-7211.
