When the condition of that young boy, age of 12, will get better, investigators will meet with him to try to get more information of what was the reason for that altercation, who was involved.”

The boy was quickly transported to a hospital, where his condition was initially considered critical. On Wednesday morning, medical authorities reported that he was in stable condition.
“The young boy is in a stable condition, we cannot confirm or the doctor’s cannot confirm that he’s out of danger, there’s an evaluation to his condition that has to be done,” said Brabant
The attack took place at the corner of Lemieux Street and Barclay Ave. At least one suspect was reportedly seen and fled before the police arrived.
“We’re not saying that was only one person was involved, we’ll try to get more info today and with the victim when he’s going to get better,” said Brabant.
Early Wednesday, the SPVM reported no arrests in this case.

“We’re asking for the help of the public, if anyone has any information or saw something at around 6:30 a.m. or prior to could come forward by dialing 911,” added Brabant.
