Police seek witnesses after fatal crash on Highway 50 in Mirabel

Quebec provincial police are asking the public for help as they investigate a deadly collision that happened earlier this month on Highway 50 in Mirabel.
According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the crash occurred on Dec. 10, shortly after 5:30 a.m., and involved two vehicles and a transport truck.
Investigators say a car travelling westbound on Highway 50 lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic, where it collided head-on with a heavy truch travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds.
Police are now trying to identify and speak with any witnesses who may have seen the collision or events leading up to it.
