Major disruptions on Montreal roads this weekend

Motorists in the Montreal area should prepare for major obstructions over the weekend.

SAINT-PIERRE INTERCHANGE

Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

• Complete closure of the ramp leading from the A-20 west (exit 63) to the Hwy. 138 west / Honoré-Mercier bridge

Detour: in exit 63, via the junction to Montreal-Toronto Boulevard / 1^re Avenue.

Risk of congestion on A-20 West, upstream of exit 63, Saturday and Sunday during the day. Plan your trips.

Highway 10 / Bonaventure

• In Montreal (arr. Le Sud-Ouest)), on the A-10 (Bonaventure) in both directions, new lane configuration between the Victoria and Clément bridges, until April 6.

Work under the responsibility of JCCBI.

Avenue De Lorimier

• In Montreal (Ville-Marie district), on De Lorimier Avenue, between René-Lévesque and De Maisonneuve boulevards, complete closure northbound and partial closure of 1 out of 3 southbound lanes, Monday to Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., for a period of 5 weeks.

Note: On René-Lévesque Boulevard East, closure of the left-turn lane for De Lorimier Avenue northbound.

Water main rehabilitation work, under the responsibility of the City of Montreal.

Viger Avenue East

• In Montreal (Ville-Marie district), on Viger Avenue East, between the access ramp for Hwy. 136 West and Wolfe Street, until the beginning of April:
  • Partial closure of 1 lane out of 3 during the morning rush hour, from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Partial closure of 2 lanes out of 3, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Monday to Thursday) and at 5 a.m. the next day (Friday to Sunday).
  • The access ramp to Hwy. 136 West will remain open, according to the same schedule.
  • Optional route: via René-Lévesque Boulevard East.

Replacement work on a watermain under the responsibility of the City of Montreal.

Route 138 in Montreal (arr. LaSalle)

• In Montreal (LaSalle arr.), partial closure of 1 out of 2 lanes in exit 2 of the Hwy. 138, in both directions, until April 18, 2026.

Long-term work on Clément Street, at Louis-Fortier Street, under the responsibility of the City of Montreal.

Highway 20 (Jean-Lesage), between Sainte-Julie and Beloeil

• Since March 22, work has resumed on the construction of a reserved lane on the A-20 East (Jean-Lesage), between Sainte-Julie and Beloeil. See the press release.
