Closures coming to Highway 20 in Montreal

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable informs the public that closures of Highway 20 are planned in the Boucherville sector during the nights of March 1, 2026^er and Oct. 2. These obstructions are required to carry out paving work.

The Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel will remain open during the week of September 28 to October 4.

Obstructions and traffic management – 1^er and October 2

Highway 20 eastbound

• Complete closure of Highway 20 eastbound between Exit No. 95 (De Montarville Boulevard) and the entrance from De Montarville Boulevard, from Thursday 1^er October, at 10 p.m., to Friday, October 2, at 5 a.m.

Highway 20 westbound

• Complete closure of Highway 20 westbound between exit 95 (De Montarville Boulevard) and the entrance from De Montarville Boulevard, from Friday, October 2, at 11 p.m., to Saturday, October 3, at 8 a.m.

The work could be postponed to the night of Saturday to Sunday due to unfavourable weather conditions or operational constraints.

Upcoming Tunnel Closures Over the Long Weekend

Please note that during the long weekend of October 9 to 13, Highway 25 southbound, including the tunnel, will be completely closed from the Anjou interchange. Highway 25 northbound will also be completely closed at night. More details will follow early next week.
