Otter found living under dumpster in Winnipeg

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Could Vancouver’s koi-loving otter have hitched a ride to Winnipeg?
The city’s Humane Society recently rescued an otter found living under a garbage dumpster near the University of Winnipeg.

The happy little guy is now under the care of Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre, which is planning to release him in open water when he’s healthy.
It’s not clear where the otter came from, or how he got to downtown Winnipeg.
