Two injured, one killed in Montreal North, RDP shootings

A young man was shot and killed in the parking lot of Lester B. Pearson High School in Montreal North Wednesday night.
Police responded to multiple 911 calls in the parking lot of the school located at the corner of Charny street and P.M. Favier Ave. around 10:20 p.m.
There they found a 26-year-old victim in critical condition with several gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead in hospital.
This is Montreal’s 19th homicide of the year.

Shortly after, another 25-year-old victim checked himself into hospital with gunshot wounds. His condition is stable.
Police say four people were talking in the Lester B. Pearson High School parking lot when someone approached them, shot in their direction and ran off before police arrived.
Police are on the scene investigating. No arrests have been made.

Also around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday night, gun shots were heard in Rivière-des-Prairies near JJ Joubert avenue and Pierre Bonne street.
A 20-year-old woman was slightly injured when her vehicle was shot at and a window exploded.
She was alone in her vehicle and had just parked when a vehicle driving by shot in her direction.
The suspect fled before police arrived on the scene.

The investigation is on going, no arrests have been made.
