‘Concert for Hope’ in Lachine to support Ukrainians affected by war

Montrealers are invited to a concert Sunday afternoon to support Ukrainian families affected by war.

The “Concert for Hope” is taking place at Summerlea United Church in Lachine at 2 p.m.

The concert will feature uplifting songs from film, broadway and opera. There will also be Ukrainian and Polish music.

Two guest artists from Poland are performing: tenor Adam Michalak and pianist Robert Adamczak.

Other musicians include Ukraine’s Maria Sourjko (piano) and Maryna Krejcarova (soprano), and Poland’s Nadia Monczak (violin) and Mariusz Monczak (violin).
