Full Montreal Jazz Fest lineup unveiled, includes Diana Krall, Thundercat, Robert Plant

The Montreal International Jazz Festival (FIJM) has unveiled the full lineup of its 43rd edition – running from June 29 to July 8.

Among the highlights are Diana Krall, Thundercat, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Herbie Hancock, and more world-renown artists.

Thundercat’s show will be free to the public on July 5 at the Place des Festivals – the festival’s hub in downtown Montreal. Vance Joy will also perform a free show there on July 2.

This year’s programming includes more jazz than previous years.

“Jazz from the 21st century is changing and mutating, drawing on other musical styles, and our programming reflects this refreshing change. Jazz lovers are becoming more diversified, new generations are tuning in, and we couldn’t be happier,” said Maurin Auxéméry, the new director of the FIJM programming.
