Two lanes closing on Pie-IX Bridge starting May 1 until the fall

One lane of traffic in both directions on the Pie-IX Bridge will be closing on May 1, 2023 as the Ministry of Transport begins the third and final phase of the major rehabilitation project of the Pie-IX bridge.

The closures will be in effect at all times until the work is completed in the fall of 2023.

The final phase of the project includes paving the bridge and the completion of the redesign of the intersection of Pie-IX and Henri-Bourassa Boulevards in Montreal.

Two lanes will remain open on the bridge between Laval and Montreal – in each direction – during the work.

There will be additional closures including:
Partial or complete night closures on the bridge and obstructions on the local network will be required between April 26 and May 1 in order to mobilize the work site.
Closure of the ramp leading from de la Concorde Boulevard East to Route 125 southbound and to the Pie-IX bridge.

If weather conditions do not allow for work to begin on time, these closures could be postponed.
