St-Jean parade and show coming back to Montreal on June 24

The St-Jean parade will hit the streets of Montreal for its 189th edition on June 24.

The annual show in Maisonneuve Park will also be held. This year’s theme is “Enter the happy dance”.

The parade will start at 1:30 p.m. on Saint-Joseph East corner Mason on June 24 and will showcase all things that make Quebecers happy. It’ll run east to Pie-IX and then south to Sherbrooke East.

The public is invited to then head to Maisonneuve Park for the annual St-Jean show. Artists will be practicing from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 pm. A DJ will get the party started at 6 p.m. before the show begins at 8 p.m.

This year’s edition includes performances by Marjo, Garou, Isabelle Boulay, Fouki, and more.

Neighbourhood festivities including fireworks will also be held in all boroughs on June 23 and June 24.
