Eight vehicles were lit on fire in two separate incidents Montreal police are investigating as arson and possible arson.
The first incident occurred in the Lachine borough, at around 1:30 a.m. four vehicles were reported on fire parked outside a commercial building on Pacifique Ave. near Montréal-Toronto Blvd.
It’s the third time the business is the target of arson.
The vehicles are considered total losses, but the fire department managed to put out the flames before the fire spread to the building.
No incendiary objects or accelerants were located on the scene, which is why police are still calling it possible arson.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made so far.
