Shots fired at industrial building in Montreal’s Saint-Laurent borough

MONTREAL – At least one shot was fired early Friday morning at a building in a mainly industrial sector of northwest Montreal, with no apparent injuries.

Montreal police (SPVM) were alerted to the incident around 1:20 a.m. by a call to 911. The building is located near the intersection of Lebeau Blvd. and Benjamin-Hudon Street, in the borough of Saint-Laurent.

Once on the scene, patrol officers from the SPVM found at least one gunshot impact on the building, but no suspects were on the scene.

A security perimeter was set up and the investigation is ongoing.

No arrests have been reported so far.
