Man killed after being hit by vehicle in Brossard

A 70-year-old man died in a collision on du Quartier Boulevard, at the intersection with Lancaster Street in Brossard.
Around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, a man in his twenties driving a vehicle collided with a pedestrian, who later died from his injuries.
A suspect was arrested and could face charges of dangerous driving causing death said a spokeswoman for the Service de police de l’Agglomération de Longueuil.
A perimeter has been set up and Boulevard du Quartier remains closed between Chemin des Prairies and Rue de Lancaster, while experts and investigators are on-site to analyze the scene.
