SPVM looks for witnesses of July hit and run

The Montreal police (SPVM) collision investigation module is turning to the public for help to find witnesses and a suspect connected to a hit and run over the summer.

It happened at around 8 a.m. on July 15, when a white Ford Transit struck a woman at the corner of Hochelaga and Saint-Émile. The driver left the scene before officers arrived. The woman sustained significant injuries.

The SPVM is looking for witnesses to the incident who can identify the vehicle’s driver.

The driver is said to be a man between 20 and 30 years of age, with brown hair and about 5 feet 9 inches tall.

The vehicle is a white Ford Transit cargo van – model dates between 2018 and 2024.

The SPVM released surveillance camera images of the vehicle said to be involved in the event.

Rewards of up to $3,000 are available from Info-Crime Montréal for information leading to the arrest of suspects. Certain conditions apply.
