Freezing rain avoided in Montreal: Environment Canada

Environment Canada lifted a freezing rain warning that was in effect for Tuesday. 

Icy conditions were expected for the morning, but the weather brought light rain instead. 

Showers forecasted for the day with a high of 5 degrees, with a low of 1. Possible wind gusts reaching between 20 to 40km/h, and a 60 per cent chance of rain or flurries overnight.

A mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday with a 60 per cent chance of flurries in the morning. A high of 4 degrees, with a low of 1.

Rain and snow on Thursday with a high of 4, with a low of -2.

On Friday, a mix of sun and clouds, with a high of 2 degrees and a 30 per cent chance of flurries at night.

Similar weather over the weekend with cloudy skies, and a low of -5 on Sunday.

On Monday, cloudy weather with a high of -3.
