Two men dead in Longueuil after car accident

Two men in their 30s died in hospital after a road accident overnight Tuesday in Longueuil.

According to the Longueuil Police (SPAL), the accident occurred around 1 a.m. in the area of ​​Marie-Victorin and Jean-Paul-Vincent boulevards.

For reasons that remain to be determined, the vehicle in which the two men were travelling was involved in a collision and was “heavily damaged.”

Both men were taken to hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries later in the day.

The first victim, Kesly François, 34, was a resident of the South Shore of Montreal. The second was identified as Tangly Thomson, 39, originally from Montreal.

The two men were known to the police for criminal offences, said SPAL spokesperson François Boucher.

“The exact circumstances leading to this collision remain to be established,” said officer François Boucher, who is a spokesperson for SPAL.
