Ahuntsic-Cartierville business targeted by arsonists: police

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating an arson attack that targeted a business on Tuesday night in Ahuntsic-Cartierville.
A 911 call alerted police of an alarm at the headquarters of Les Nana, on Louvain Street West, near Meilleur Street.
The damage to the building was minor.
According to initial information, a suspect was reportedly seen smashing a front window of the building, before setting a fire and fleeing on foot.
An incendiary object was found on-site.
No one was injured, as the business was closed at the time.
The investigation has been transferred to the SPVM’s arson squad, who will send investigators to shed light on the circumstances of this fire.
A witness has already been met by police and possible surveillance cameras are to be reviewed, according to the SPVM.
No arrests have been made yet.
