50-Year-old woman struck by car in Quebec

A 50-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Quebec.

Quebec City Police (SPVQ) reported receiving several calls around 7:40 p.m. about the accident near the intersection of Blvd. de l’Ormière and Racine Street.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.

The driver, a 24-year-old woman, was also taken to the hospital for treatment of nervous shock.
