FSSS announces agreement in principle for its members in CPE daycares

La Fédération de la santé et des services sociaux (FSSS) announced Tuesday that it has reached an agreement in principle for the renewal of the collective agreement of its members in some 400 childcare centres – known as CPEs in the province.
These union members have held 13 days of walkouts since the end of January.
The agreement in principle will be submitted to the union delegates of the FSSS, affiliated with the CSN, in the coming days.
The three other union organizations participating in these national negotiations had already reached an agreement in principle, and their members had ratified it several months ago.
The content of the agreement has not been revealed, with the unions keeping the details for their members.
