Overnight closure of Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel this weekend

There will be a complete overnight closure of Highway 25, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, that will be in place on Friday and Saturday — May 9 to 10.
A closure of exit 3 of Highway 25 northbound will also be in place during the nights of May 5 to 8.
These obstructions are required to move formwork tools and to carry out marking work.

Nights of May 5 to 8:
Highway 25 toward Montreal
- Exit 3 – Notre-Dame Street / Hochelaga Street will be closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, from 9:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
- Closure of Curatteau Street between Notre-Dame and Hochelaga Streets, from 9:00 p.m. Monday to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Night of May 9 to 10:
Highway 25 toward Montreal
- Complete closure of Highway 25 toward Montreal (including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel) between Exit 90 – Highway 20 West, Route 132, La Prairie / USA, Varennes, P.E. Trudeau Airport and the entrance from Hochelaga Street, from 11 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday.
- The entrances to this section will be closed 30 minutes before the complete closure of the highway.
Highway 25 toward the South Shore
- Complete closure of Highway 25 toward the South Shore (including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel) between Exit 5 – R-138 / Hochelaga Street / Sherbrooke Street and the entrance from Charron Island, from 11 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday.
- The entrances to this section will be closed 30 minutes before the full highway closure.
- Souligny Avenue eastbound, between Dickson and Honoré-Beaugrand streets, will be closed 30 minutes before the full highway closure.

These closures are subject to operational constraints and favourable weather conditions in order to proceed with the marking of the roadway.
