By News Staff

Are you ready to “rock and roll all night” Montreal?

Well, a new immersive musical experience is.

Following a successful launch in Las Vegas, and recent openings in New York, Houston and Toronto, the Rolling Stone Presents: AMPLIFIED show is set to open this summer at OASIS Immersion, Canada’s largest permanent immersive destination, located in Montreal’s Palais des congrès.

“This exhibit is about the chills, the emotion and the power of music as a unifying force,” said Denys Lavigne, President and Co-founder of OASIS Immersion, in a news release on Tuesday.

“How it influenced generations and cultures,” he added. “As a music fan, it’s exhilarating.”

Starting on June 20th, Montrealers will be able to experience the history of rock brought to life through a powerful blend of music and visuals — encompassing over 1,000 photographs, 200 videos, and 1,300 Rolling Stone magazine covers.

All this featuring iconic artists including David Bowie, The Who, Radiohead, Joan Jett, D.R.E, (feat. Snoop Dogg), The Doors, Blondie, Green Day, Kiss, Aretha Franklin, The Ramones and Janis Joplin, to name a few.

“We’re thrilled to see AMPLIFIED emerging as a landmark in the immersive space,” said Alan Greenberg, CEO of Illuminarium.

“Our collaboration with OASIS in Montreal will deliver a powerful journey through the soundtrack of our lives for Quebec’s passionate audience,” he added.

Drawing from live performances, behind-the-scenes studio banter, never-before-seen moments, and exclusive portrait sessions — the show is truly ready to have you “rock and roll all night” as you celebrate the power of music.
