Nighttime closure of Highway 20 eastbound in Longueuil to last until end of July

By News Staff

Starting this Saturday and lasting until the end of July, Highway 20/Route 132 eastbound will be closed overnight for paving work.

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable said in a press release that the work will continue until early October.

The affected stretch spans 4.5 kilometers between the Samuel De Champlain Bridge and Notre-Dame Avenue in Saint-Lambert, on Montreal’s South Shore.

Closures will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will also impact entrance ramps feeding onto A-20 eastbound.

Among those affected are the ramps leading from Marie-Victorin and Simard Boulevards, Riverside Street, and Notre-Dame Avenue to the R-132 eastbound.

Detours will be marked with temporary signage.
