REM experiencing power failure causing service disruptions Wednesday morning

The Réseau express métropolitain (REM) service is experiencing disruptions on Wednesday morning due to a power failure and equipment breakdown.

The network first posted on social media that a “power failure” was causing service interruptions, then a few minutes later shared that “equipment breakdown” was causing the interruptions between “Gare Centrale and Panama station, all direction.”

The REM stated that shuttle buses are available to help commuters reach their destinations.

“Resumption time undetermined,” they said.

At 9:06 a.m. the REM posted an update to social media, saying that there’s now normal service in both directions.
