Heat warning lifted, but hot temperatures persist for Montreal

The heat warning that Quebecers saw Monday and on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day has now come to an end, but scorching heat is persisting in Montreal on Wednesday.
Temperatures expected in the city today will be 29°C with a humidex of 31°C, but elsewhere in the province, the mercury will not exceed 25°C.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), temperatures will be in line with seasonal norms in western and central Quebec.
This drop in temperatures is then forecasted to spread into Montreal on Thursday, with an increase of cloudiness and a daytime high of 23°C.
Come Friday, cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 25°C.
Then rain for the weekend — Saturday seeing showers and a high of 19°C.
The wet weather is set to continue into Sunday, but temperatures climbing back up with a high of 27°C.
As of now, a mix of sun and cloud for Monday and 31°C.
