Road closures for Montreal this weekend

Mobility Montréal advises road users that major obstructions are expected over the weekend.
Night closures as of Aug. 1
Night closures of Highway 25 toward the South Shore will be in place as of Friday. These obstructions are required for the construction of a guardrail under the Souligny interchange.
Highway 25 toward the South Shore
- Complete closure of Highway 25 toward the South Shore between exit 5 (Route 138, Hochelaga Street, Sherbrooke Street) and Souligny Avenue, from Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m. and from Saturday 11 p.m. to Sunday 9 a.m.
- The Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel will remain open and will be accessible from Souligny Avenue East.
- The entrance from Sherbrooke Street will be closed 30 minutes before the highway is completely closed.
Closure of the ramp leading from Highway 10 westbound to Highway 15 South/Route 132 West in Brossard from Aug. 3 to Aug. 9
Complete closure of a ramp on the Highway 10/15/20 interchange (on the approach to the Samuel De Champlain Bridge) is required to allow the City of Brossard to repair a water main. The closure of the ramp leading from Highway 10 westbound to Highway 15 South/Highway 132 West will be required from Aug. 3 to 9.
The Department anticipates significant episodes of congestion.
Obstructions and traffic management
From Sunday, Aug. 3 at 11:59 p.m. to Saturday, Aug. 9 at 6 a.m.
- Complete closure of the off-ramp leading from Highway 10 westbound to Highway 15 South/Highway 132 West.
- Significant congestion to be expected in the direction of La Prairie. Plan your trips.

Detour:
- Continue on Highway 20/Highway 132 eastbound to Exit N rampo 76 (Simard Boulevard), turn left onto Marie-Victorin Boulevard westbound and continue on Highway 15 South/Route 132 West.
The work, carried out by the City of Brossard, could be postponed, extended or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints.
Autoroute 10, Route 132 and the Champlain Bridge
Sunday 11:59 p.m. to Saturday 6 a.m.
- In Brossard on the A-10 west, in exit 6 (Hwy. 132, Longueuil, La Prairie), closure of the ramp to Hwy. 132 west / La Prairie
Detour: via ramp to Hwy. 132 East and U-turn at Exit 76 (Simard Boulevard)
Optional / preferred: upstream, via Exit 11 (A-30 West, Matte Boulevard) or Exit 8 (Taschereau Boulevard, R-134)

Route 132 / Varennes
- Complete closure of the R-132 between Montée de Picardie and Rue Quévillon, from Monday 7 a.m. until the end of August
Detour eastbound via Frontenac Street or René-Gaultier Boulevard and westbound via Jacques-Lussier Street or René-Gaultier Avenue
Highway 40 / Terrebonne (Lachenaie) and Charlemagne
Between Charles-De Gaulle bridge and A-640, redevelopment of structures, Ruisseau de Feu – end of September. Traffic on detoured lanes at all times and 5 lanes available out of 6, depending on peak time.
- 3 lanes westbound / Montreal and 2 eastbound: from 11:59 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next day, weekdays
- 3 eastbound / Quebec City lanes and 2 westbound lanes: noon to 10 p.m., weekdays and weekends
- Change of configuration: Sunday to Friday between 10 a.m. and noon
Bonaventure Expressway
- Closure of access from Chemin de la Pointe-Nord / Boulevard de l’Île-des-Sœurs / Rue Jacques-Leber to A-10 West / downtown until September. Detour via A-15 north / exit 60 to Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard
- Peel Basin / Victoria Bridge level, closure of 1 out of 3 lanes in each direction until December
- On the Clément bridge, traffic in the opposite direction – 1 lane in each direction – until December. Note trucks: end of the Samuel De Champlain Bridge, in exit 58 to A-10 west / downtown, closure of 1 lane out of 2 and lane width at 4 m
REM light-rail network
- Complete closure of the REM until Aug. 17. Many options are available to users who need to travel between the South Shore and downtown Montreal. See website for more info.

In the event of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints, work may be cancelled or modified.
