Honoré Mercier Bridge repair work resumes this weekend

As the construction holiday came to an end, road work is picking right back up in Montreal.

Transport Quebec says repair work will be resuming on the Honoré Mercier Bridge over the coming weekend.

Due to this, lane closures will be in place from Aug. 8 to 11, meaning traffic will be impacted in the area.

The bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting at 11 p.m. on Friday and will remain that way until 5 a.m. on Monday.

Transport Quebec says weather could play a factor in the duration of the lane closures and urge road users to visit Québec 511 for the latest information.
