Rogers giving Blue Jays fans in Montreal chance to attend ALCS with ‘Dial the Dugout’ ticket giveaway

“It would be amazing,” says a Montreal fan about the chance to win tickets through the pop-up Rogers ‘Dial the Dugout’ contest. Fans left messages for the Blue Jays for a chance to win tickets, airfare, and hotel for the ALCS.

There’s no doubt Blue Jays fever has taken over baseball fans across Canada – and Montreal is no different.

Now fans in Montreal have a chance to get even closer to the action.

Rogers is bringing its “Dial the Dugout” ticket giveaway contest to downtown Montreal, giving fans a chance to win a pair of tickets to the ALCS in Toronto.

At a pop-up location at Central Station on Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., fans can use the Rogers dugout phone to leave a message to cheer on the Blue Jays. They will then be entered to win a trip for two – including airfare and accommodation – to the next Blue Jays home game at Rogers Centre.

“It would be amazing, 100 per cent. Who would say no? It would be good to have a little break from Montreal. I love Toronto actually,” one baseball fan at the pop-up told CityNews.

“I think the Blue Jays are awesome.”

Fans can also leave a message by calling or texting former Blue Jays catcher Russell Martin at 514-807-JAYS (French) or Blue Jays manager John Schneider at 416-987-JAYS (English), or by posting a message of support on social media using #DialTheDugout. Those fans will be entered to win one of 50 pairs of tickets for each Blue Jays ALCS home game at Rogers Centre.

The exact spot of the Rogers pop-up in Central Station is location #465, near the escalators by the Second Cup.

The “Dial the Dugout” giveaway is also making stops in Halifax, Ottawa and Vancouver.

The Toronto Blue Jays are down 2-0 in their best-of-seven series against the Seattle Mariners.

Game 3 goes Wednesday at 8:08 p.m. ET / 5:08 p.m. PT at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park – the venue for Games 3 to 5. Shane Bieber will take the ball for the Blue Jays, opposite Mariners right-hander George Kirby.

All games are on Sportsnet.
