Sarah McLachlan cancels Quebec concerts

Sarah McLachlan has officially cancelled her previously postponed shows in Quebec, the singer announced.

McLachlan, a two-time grammy winner and a four-time Juno award recipient, was scheduled to perform in Montreal, Oct. 30 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier and in Quebec City, Nov. 1.

After cancelling those events on due to vocal issues, she announced Wednesday that the concerts were cancelled.

In a Facebook post Wednesay, she said, “I’m sorry to announce that the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary Tour dates in Montreal (Oct 30) and Quebec City (Nov 1) are cancelled, we were unfortunately unable to reschedule these previously postponed shows. Thank you for your patience and understanding, I hope to see you again soon… très désolé”

Last year, the singer had postponed the Canadian leg of her 30th anniversary tour as she recovered from acute laryngitis.
