82-year-old pedestrian critically injured in St-Leonard collision

An 82-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Montreal’s St-Leonard borough.

Police were called to a residential area near the intersection of Robert and D’Arles streets at about 6:20 p.m., where officers found the pedestrian on the ground. He was taken to hospital, and police say he is still in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle, a 52-year-old man, was not injured. He is expected to be interviewed as part of the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
