Rain, gusty winds to give way to colder, snowy stretch in Montreal 

An unsettled mix of rain, wind and snow will keep umbrellas and winter coats working overtime this week.

Cloudy skies are expected today, with a 40 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries this morning and rain beginning near noon. There is a risk of freezing rain early. The high will be plus 3 Celsius.

Tonight, a few showers will end early this evening before skies clear. The low will be minus – 7 C, with a wind chill of minus – 12 C overnight.

Thursday will bring a mix of sun and cloud with winds up to 15 km/h. The high will be plus 4 C, with a morning wind chill of minus – 10 C. Periods of rain are expected Thursday night, with a low of plus 3 C.

Rain or periods of snow are forecast Friday, with a high of plus 6 C. Periods of snow and windy conditions are expected overnight, with a low of minus – 8 C.

Sunny skies are expected Saturday, with a high of minus – 5 C. Snow is forecast Saturday night, with a low of minus – 5 C.

Periods of snow are expected Sunday, with a high of zero. Cloudy periods overnight will bring a low of minus – 14 C.
